SUMMER NOT BUMMER

Its officially summer!!! The calender marks it as June 21st,  but we say Memorial day is the true start and most people that own white denim would agree (although we never took ours out of rotation this year).  Now that the season of pool parties and barbecue filled weekends is here, we get to break out the popsicle molds and start experimenting with all these rad ideas we have been holding since the 60 degree winter...cough cough.  As harsh as it may be, people don't want popsicles at their Halloween, holiday or Super Bowl parties. They are summer thing and we like it that way.  Here are a handful of awesome popsicle recipes that include a few of our favorite ingredients; champagne, flowers, vanilla , avocado, rum, chocolate and lots of fruit!

1. Coconut lime  thecornerkitchenblog
2. Champagne and flowers cookingstoned
3. Frozen watermelon community.thehotplate
4. Vanilla Mint Lemonade hungrygirlporvida
5. Oreo pudding pops number-2-pencil

9. Rum and coke endlesssimmer

MORE WHIPPED CREAM PLEASE

We decided whipped cream is underrated and everyone should have a can stocked in their fridge next to the emergency bottle of champagne. Beyond bikinis and sundaes,  the dessert condiment can  also now be used in vodka form. Whipped cream flavored vodka may be the best thing to happen since coconut flavored rum.  Ok we went a bit far with that comparison, but it is amazing and here is a delicious recipe using it. More whipped cream please!
