THAT'S A WRAP

A wise person once said "a gift is only as good as its wrapping". LAST MINUTE : BOYFRIEND VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT GUIDE

       Valentines day sometimes seems like a holiday set up just for women to get mad at men. Since elementary school, girls would hope for their crushes to give them a heart shaped ninja turtle card or send them a flower gram. Unfortunately, this didn't always happen and our dreams of a real life John Hughes style love were crushed.  Although we are older,  there is still a glimmer of hope that Prince Charming will send an anonymous dozen roses or our boyfriends will plan a dreamy date night including a horse drawn carriage and going to the ballet ...in Paris.   As hopeless as we may always be, this year we are taking it upon ourselves to be the Juliet to our Romeo. A few easy ideas any man will love, especially compared to last years silent treatment after he only got us a box of chocolates. As if!

1. Man candle - Man-Cans!  Awesome flavors like campfire, bacon and grampas pipe. All candles are made inside of a soup can, which the  actually soup is donated to a local food shelter.

2. Beer Tasting - Buy 4-5 craft beers (usually at  liquor stores you can buy single bottles or the 32oz bottles are sold alone).  Pair up with cheese, popcorn, sandwiches and other snacks. Here is a chart for pairings.

3. Homemade Valentine- Good for a massage or home cooked dinner. We love this scratcher idea.

4. Personalized Playlist- Set up a listening party in your living room accompanied by cocktails, candles and a deck a cards or chess board for a romantic and fun night.
