MOVING PARTY!

This weekend I am moving to a new place and I couldn't be less excited! Its just down the street but the process of moving is dreadful. Packing, packing, throwing away things, packing more, actually moving the packed items...and so on and so on.   Instead of stressing about whether or not to keep a dress I wore that one night 2 years ago or a stack of 2012 British Vogues, I am inviting some friends over to help. Its a moving party! Most people throw house warmings but why not give the old place a proper farewell. What better way to get friends to help out, maybe help supply some boxes and reminisce about all the memories that happened there over some fancy boxed wine?  .

1. Boxes- Ask guest to bring any empty boxes  (all sizes) . BYOB (bring your own box).
2. Boxed wine- If you have all the wine glasses and bottle opener packed, boxed wine is the perfect solution. A plastic glass wont ruin it, its easily moveable in a box and its cheap!
3. Packing supplies-
     Colorful packing tape to close up boxes and can be used as streamers ( as seen here )
     Sharpies are always fun to draw with and also good to for marking boxes.
     Labels are a must to mark items for donation, trash, room of the house, etc.
4. Paint chip address cards- perfect for invites or to give to friends for a new address reminder.
5. Set up all your unwanted clothing and items on or near a clothing rack so guest can  easily look through. One person's trash is another's teasure!
6. Balloons- this is a party after all, not just an excuse to get friends to help you move....
